Work duties

Exploration department is recruiting extra personnel.

Exploration activities to be carried out in Norrbotten, northern Sweden. Work duties will be geological work in the field and office and can consist of bedrock mapping, geochemical sampling, field reconnaissance, and drill core logging, as well as compilation of information and reporting.

Work can be physically strenuous where you will need to carry field equipment and samples in variable weather conditions, as well as walk through rolling forest terrane. You will work both independently and in a group. Boliden will arrange your living accommodations.

Education and qualifications

We are looking for people with completed university training in geology with interest in mineral exploration. You should be self managing, service oriented and creative, and have the ability to cooperate with others. Ideally you have core logging and field experience.

We require good knowledge of Swedish or English and a class B driving licence.
