Software developer to Uppsala based IT company

We are looking for a Software developer, focused on compiler technology, to out HQ office in Uppsala.

As a software developer with a focus on compiler technology your main responsibility is to develop high-quality compilers in compliance with international standards and technical specifications. You are part of a development team that focuses on optimizations, and the development activities are either performed independently or together with colleagues in the team (or from other teams).

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, or a similar field, or equivalent experience
• A general understanding of deep compiler design
• High proficiency with algorithms and experience in compiler correctness, code generation and optimization (data flow analysis, register allocation, vectorization, etc)
• Experience and understanding of microcontrollers/microprocessors, including advanced instruction set extensions for graphics and multimedia. Experience of the Arm architecture is highly valued.
• Experience of C/C++
• Familiarity with modern software development tools and engineering practices (compilers, IDE’s, source code control, issue management, agile development, etc.)
