Job description
We are looking for a **Project Specialist for International Student Service** to join the International Services team in Helsinki. The position is fixed-term from 17 August 2026 to 31 August 2029.
As a Specialist for International Student Support Services, you will:
- Work primarily at the Pasila campus in Haaga-Helia, with occasional visits to the Porvoo and Vierumäki campuses
- Coordinate a development project for international student support services
- Develop new services to support Haaga-Helias growing international student population and describe the international student service path from applicant to alumni, communicating services clearly and visually through our website
- Support international students in their relocation and integration into Finland, as well as in starting their studies at Haaga-Helia
- Advise and guide international students in practical matters, and organize events and webinars
- Actively support international students in finding internships and employment in Finland
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop, using service design methods, a concept for a service point supporting international students, and launch its operations
The person we are looking for is expected to have
- A higher education degree (Masters level)
- Experience in collaboration between higher education institutions, companies, and other stakeholders
- Fluent English skills; additional language skills are considered an advantage
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, and a proactive working approach
- The inclusion of one or preferably two referees and their contact details in the application
