About Us

Renaissance® is a global leader in education technology. We help schools and school groups in the UK and around the world with educational assessments, practice and intervention solutions, and data analytics. Renaissance now incorporates GL Assessment (known internationally as GL Education), too – a leading provider of educational assessments.

Together, our assessments offer the ideal starting point to help teachers understand their students’ strengths and pinpoint areas of need. Our teaching and learning tools then provide effective next steps, with online literacy and maths solutions that meet students exactly where we are.

Worldwide, we support over 18 million students, operating in over 100 countries.

We're looking for a UX Researcher to join Renaissance and deliver high-quality user and buyer insights that inform product decisions across discovery, design, and validation phases.

  • Work with Product Operations to plan research sessions, recruit participants, and manage logistics
  • Conduct targeted research activities where deeper insight is required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of research processes, tooling, and repositories

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Deliver findings with compelling narratives that identify key opportunities and inform product decisions
  • Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Product Marketing to embed user insight in decision-making
  • Champion the voice of the user within product teams
  • Support a culture of user-centred design across the organisation

Performance and Impact

  • Ensure research outputs directly inform product direction and improve decision quality
  • Track and communicate the impact of research on product outcomes
  • Contribute to building a scalable, repeatable user insight capability

Experience we’d love to see includes:
