Job description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to accurately deliver patient meal trays in a timely manner throughout the hospital.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure meal accuracy and compliance with dietary requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Adheres to food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards.
Customer Service
- Provides courteous and respectful service to patients, families, and staff.
- Responds appropriately to customer requests and escalates concerns when needed.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to service excellence.
Communication
- Communicates clearly and professionally with patients, families, coworkers, and clinical staff.
- Shares information accurately to support patient meal service operations.
- Collaborates effectively with team members to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to push and maneuver meal carts throughout patient care areas.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport food trays and supplies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and service standards.
