Regional Director – Garden & Condominium Communities
Location: Rise Corporate Office – Houston, TX
Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000 annually
Employment Status: Full-Time
Position Overview
Rise Association Management Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director to lead and support a portfolio of garden-style condominium and condominium associations throughout the Greater Houston area.
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a team of Community Managers and support staff while ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational excellence, and strong client retention. The Regional Director serves as a strategic partner to Boards of Directors, providing operational guidance, leadership development, financial oversight, and consultative support to help communities achieve their goals.
The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven leader with strong condominium management experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to coach and develop high-performing teams. This role requires someone who can balance client expectations, team development, operational performance, and strategic planning while maintaining the high standards associated with the RISE brand.
This position is highly interactive and requires regular communication with clients, Board members, managers, and executive leadership. Evening Board meetings and occasional community events are expected.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Community Managers and support staff
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, team meetings, and performance reviews
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and service excellence
- Support employee retention through coaching, development, and career path planning
- Provide ongoing training related to condominium operations, Board relations, financial management, and company best practices
- Identify performance concerns and implement coaching and corrective action plans as needed
Portfolio Operations Management
- Ensure communities are managed in accordance with the RISE Way, governing documents, company policies, and industry best practices
- Provide operational leadership and strategic guidance to managers and Boards of Directors
- Review Board packets, reports, correspondence, and community communications for quality and accuracy
- Assist managers with complex operational issues, resident concerns, maintenance challenges, and community matters
- Monitor community performance metrics, service levels, and client satisfaction
- Support onboarding and transitions for new association clients
Board & Client Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Boards of Directors and community leaders
- Attend Board meetings and annual meetings to support managers, strengthen client relationships, and promote client retention
- Serve as an escalation point for complex client concerns and operational matters
- Provide consultative leadership to Boards regarding governance, operations, budgeting, reserve planning, and community objectives
- Ensure responsive communication and exceptional customer service standards throughout the portfolio
Financial Oversight
- Review financial packages, budgets, reserve projects, and operational reports with management teams
- Provide guidance to managers and Boards regarding budget planning and financial decision-making
- Monitor financial performance and ensure managers understand key financial concepts and reporting requirements
- Support long-term planning and operational forecasting for client communities
Compliance & Governance
- Promote compliance with governing documents, company policies, and applicable laws
- Assist managers in understanding condominium governance requirements and operational best practices
- Monitor compliance with Texas Property Code Chapter 82 and other applicable laws affecting condominium associations
- Stay informed on industry trends, legislative updates, and best practices impacting community associations
Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of community association management experience
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing direct reports
- Experience managing condominium associations required
- Experience overseeing multiple communities and managers preferred
- Proven experience working directly with Boards of Directors
- Strong client retention and relationship management experience
- Working knowledge of Texas Property Code Chapter 82 preferred

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with community association management software platforms preferred
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- CMCA, AMS, PCAM, or other industry designations strongly preferred
Additional Information
FLSA Status: Exempt
Status: Full-Time
Schedule
Monday through Friday during normal business hours
Regular evening Board meetings and occasional weekend community events are expected.
Travel
Local travel throughout the Greater Houston area and surrounding communities is required.
