Novant Health is expanding! We are looking for dedicated healthcare professionals to help us expand access to world-class care in the heart of the Lowcountry.

Shift: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:40pm, Fridays 8am-2pm

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
•
Providing Compassionate Support: Your empathy and calm demeanor can help alleviate anxiety and create a sense of comfort and continuity throughout their treatment journey.
•
Enhancing Clinical Efficiency: By managing patient flow, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures, you set the team up for success and ensure patients receive remarkable care.
•
Ensuring Coordinated Care: You are a vital link in the communication chain between the patient and the healthcare team. By accurately documenting information and coordinating appointments, you help ensure that every step of a patient's complex treatment plan is organized and seamless.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Candidates will provide proof of current certification from one of the approved certifying registries including: • CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) • CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA) • RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT) • American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA) • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) • National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) • American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA). If a candidate is not currently certified, they must obtain certification or registration by the end of the sixth month of their hire and sign an education agreement.
- Experience: Previous work in a medical office, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required. Current State Drivers License (Palliative Care Only), required.
- Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
