Core responsibilities - Develop and maintain actuarial models for pricing , reserving , and profitability analysis. - Analyze claims, policy, and exposure data to identify trends, drivers, and portfolio risks. - Produce forecasts and scenario analyses to support business planning and capital management. - Validate model assumptions, document methodologies, and ensure reproducible calculations. - Collaborate with underwriting, finance, risk, and product teams to translate findings into actions. - Prepare clear reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and, where applicable, regulators. Required skills and qualifications - Strong quantitative background in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. - Experience with actuarial techniques (e.g., loss development, frequency/severity modeling, GLMs). - Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and at least one of R , Python , SAS , or SQL . - Knowledge of insurance products, reserving/pricing frameworks, and risk concepts. - High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to explain complex results. - Preferred: Progress toward actuarial certification (relevant local/international body).
