Matching Talents Become a coach! Matching Talents is a project in which young people aged 13 to 27 are linked to a volunteer coach. This concerns young people from all sectors and levels: secondary education, MBO and HBO. Matching Talents gives these young people the opportunity to invest in themselves with the support of a personal coach. GOAL: PREVENT SCHOOL LEAVING How do we do that? As a coach you challenge, inspire, strengthen and support a young person. You guide the young person in discovering and finding his/her strength and you help the young person to get where the ambitions lie. We work from a solution-oriented methodology. As an expert by experience, the young person is the owner of his/her situation. This way of coaching encourages you to make your own decisions and choices that are important for the future. The young person is supported by the coach, but learns to make his or her own decisions and choices, with which he or she can work independently. HOW DO YOU BECOME A VOLUNTARY COACH AT MATCHING TALENTS? - Send an email to [email protected] or call/app 06 81 45 30 67. Are you sending your CV? - Come by for an introductory meeting - We request a 'Declaration of Good Conduct' and conclude a volunteer agreement - Get paired with a young person - Get started FREQUENCY, DURATION AND PERIOD TO BE CONSIDERED You, as a coach, decide together with the young person where, how often and for how long you meet. After the first month, you draw up a match agreement containing the set goals. As a coach you continue to support the young person as long as he or she indicates that it is necessary. This can vary from a few months to a year and a half.
