About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive PAM Development Team Lead to join the global IAM Technology organisation. In this role, you will lead the Development function within the Privileged Access Management area, overseeing in‑house tooling, driving service improvements, and shaping the future of PAM technology across the bank. You will work closely with Engineering, SRE, architecture, audit, and senior stakeholders to ensure resilience, compliance, and continuous evolution of PAM services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mature and scale a high‑performing development function supporting current and future in‑house PAM services
  • Influence architectural and design decisions through deep understanding of the development lifecycle
  • Lead the Development function, including full line management, performance processes, and workflow optimisation
  • Develop and manage major incident action plans, chair post‑incident reviews, and drive remediation activities
  • Oversee significant changes, ensuring risk assessments and change management compliance; represent changes at CAB
  • Improve service health and resilience through new ways of working and adoption of modern technologies
  • Lead risk management activities and represent PAM services during internal and external audits
  • Define and execute roadmaps and strategies; contribute to strategic PAM programmes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with PAM vendors, contractor agencies, and internal stakeholders
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and senior management, translating technical details into business‑relevant insights
  • Support out‑of‑hours work when required

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Cyber Security development environment
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps lifecycle management and automated release processes
  • Proven experience delivering major service improvements for in‑house developed IT services, including stakeholder engagement
  • 3+ years of people management experience, including goal setting and performance tracking
  • Extensive experience working with internal and external audit, preparing walkthroughs, reports, and evidence
  • Strong background in Agile, with previous experience as Scrum Master or Product Owner
  • Solid service ownership experience: crisis call handling, RCA, major change delivery without service impact, compliance maintenance
  • Positive, relationship‑driven approach to stakeholder collaboration

Nice to Have

  • Engineering or development background in the Privileged Access Management domain
  • Experience handling audit and compliance requests end‑to‑end
  • Experience working in large, regulated enterprise environments
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, communication, and reporting skills
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones
