This role will support the management of the participating business, including participation in bonus and other discretionary benefits recommendation, regular asset share reporting, regulatory disclosures, as well as other initiatives and ad-hoc projects. The role will also assist in product oversight and the review of product-related materials. 

Responsibilities

  • Support the review and recommendation of discretionary benefits, including dividends, bonuses and non-guaranteed rates, and system implementation.
  • Support regular production processes including asset share reporting, regulatory disclosures and maintenance and development of actuarial models.
  • Assist in the review of product-related materials to ensure accuracy and that communications are as intended and congruent to PRE.

Preferred skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in AXIS, Prophet ALS or other actuarial software is not required but a plus
  • Experience in HK-specific Par management and Product/ Pricing is an advantage
  • Strong attention to details
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, commitment and responsibility as a team member
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese

Qualifications

  • University Graduate in Actuarial Science or a related discipline
  • Good progression in actuarial examinations
  • At least 3 years of full-time experience in life insurance industry, where candidates with less experience will be considered as Actuarial Analyst
