SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Software Engineer € 3.200 – € 5.000 gross per month (depending on experience) Working in Schiedam Do you have a passion for developing cutting-edge software and hardware solutions for heavy-lift equipment? At Mammoet, we're looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering team and help us develop innovative solutions that are used in our projects around the world! Mammoet is the biggest in heavy lifting and transport. The Sofware team within Mammoet develops applications that facilitate the work of our operational departments. This includes our own complex 3D environment to help us visualize our engineering & sales work, as well as multiple applications to support our Autodesk-driven workflows. The team focuses on improving workflows, functionality and compatibility of our software. In summary, supporting and facilitating the work of Engineers and making sure Mammoet stays up to date with the advanced technological demands of our clients. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Take ownership over the task at hand and align scope with several departments Develop optimal solution based on useability and practicality Look for creative solutions using existing programs or by developing new software Research, design and write new software programs Further develop existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification You will be given every opportunity to make an important contribution to our way of working worldwide. Your knowledge, analytical ability, and organizational talent play an important role in this. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Bachelor or master’s degree in a Technical, Informatica or Software Engineering discipline 0-5 years of experience Experience with .NET is a plus Good written and verbal English communication skills WHAT YOU’LL GET A dynamic work environment, identical projects do not exist; The possibility to develop your analytical skills and liberty to come up with out-of-the-box technical solutions; Training and development on both a technical and personal level; An informal and supportive work environment; Being in control of your Mammoet career, within and outside the engineering department; Dealing with a lot of offices around the world and thus a variety of cultures.
