ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive go-to-market strategy across VTEX's platform portfolio. This is a builder's role: you set the strategy and execute it yourself, working at the center of product, growth, and sales in a fast-moving, global environment. You will define how we position our solutions, craft messaging that resonates with buyers, drive adoption across the existing VTEX customer base, and contribute to new customer acquisition.
We need someone who takes ownership, drives initiatives independently, and can translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives. You will work closely with product managers, sales, and growth teams, so the ability to build trust quickly and drive alignment across teams, from regional sales to product leadership, without relying on formal authority is essential.
ABOUT THE TEAM
You will join the Global Product Marketing team at VTEX, a high-performance group responsible for positioning our platform, enabling Sales and Partners, and driving category leadership across regions. We operate closely with Product, Sales, and Executive leadership, translating innovation into clear commercial narratives that drive growth.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own positioning and messaging. Build and maintain the positioning source of truth across VTEX's platform portfolio. Develop differentiated messaging for each solution tailored to target personas, markets, and industries.
- Lead go-to-market strategy and product launches. Own end-to-end GTM planning, from aligning phased roadmaps with product teams to executing launches and enabling regional marketing, sales, and growth teams globally.
- Define the ICP and drive market intelligence. Establish and refine the Ideal Customer Profile. Conduct ongoing competitive and market analysis to sharpen product differentiation and use data to inform strategic decisions.
- Drive adoption and acquisition. Develop programs that move prospects through the funnel and accelerate adoption among existing VTEX merchants. Manage key stakeholders, ensuring they are equipped to position VTEX's solutions effectively.
- Create sales collateral and enablement materials. Produce the content Growth and Sales need: sales playbooks, pitch narratives, one-pagers, battle cards, demo scripts, and website copy that clearly articulate the value of VTEX's platform and help shorten sales cycles.
- Communicate product releases. Ensure that product updates and releases are translated into clear, timely communications for both internal teams and external audiences, maintaining a consistent release rhythm.
WHO YOU ARE
- Strong experience in product marketing, with a strong track record in enterprise B2B SaaS.
- Track record of independently building and owning PMM programs from zero, not just contributing to existing ones.
- Demonstrated ability to develop product positioning and messaging from scratch, not just execute on existing frameworks.
- Deep grasp of positioning and messaging as a craft: knows the difference between a feature list and a value proposition, can build a positioning framework from scratch, and understands how that clarity should flow into every asset, conversation, and launch.
- Copywriting instincts: knows what makes a headline land, a CTA convert, and a one-pager worth reading. Understands that good copy is clear before it is clever, and can write or sharpen assets directly.
- Strong structured thinking: able to take ambiguous problems, define a clear approach, and deliver without constant direction.
- Experience managing executive stakeholders and operating in cross-functional, fast-moving environments.
- AI-native: you actively use AI tools to increase the quality and speed of your work, from research and content creation to analysis and campaign execution.
- Excellent written communication in English and Portuguese.
- Data-driven: uses insights to define strategy, challenge assumptions, and prioritize ruthlessly.
Digital commerce experience is preferred, familiarity with conversational commerce or customer engagement platforms is a plus.
Is This Role Right for You?
This is a role for someone who has been doing this work for a while and is ready to own it fully. We're looking for someone who already has the reps, has built positioning from scratch, has navigated complex launches, and has found ways to move things forward even without formal authority.
Commerce and retail tech are nuanced spaces, and familiarity with the industry—or with complex platform environments—will help you hit the ground running. If that resonates and you're ready to operate at this level from day one, we'd love to hear from you.
