Sales Representative
Job description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Bearing Wholesalers team based in Thomastown.
In this role, you will manage and grow a customer portfolio by delivering outstanding service, identifying sales opportunities, and promoting our specialist product range. You’ll build strong, long-term relationships while contributing to ongoing business growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs through proact
- Manage a structured call cycle across your territory
- Build, maintain, and grow relationships with existing and new customers
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Reactivate dormant accounts and increase share of wallet
- Maintain accurate customer records and reporting
- Provide weekly sales activity and opportunity updates
- Support customers with product knowledge, training, and solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams including supply chain, marketing, and branch operations
- Execute sales and promotional initiatives
You’re a driven sales professional who thrives in a customer-facing role and enjoys being on the road building relationships.
To be successful, you will have:
- Proven sales experience (minimum 2 years), ideally within automotive, industrial, or related industries
- Strong ability to build trust and influence customer decisions
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a results focus
- Current driver’s licence with a strong driving record
