Job description
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
- Identify opportunities for new or enhanced automations to drive organisational efficiencies; produce designs and plans to address those opportunities, and drive the maintenance and expansion of existing automations and related processes
- Collaborate with development teams to optimise application performance, resource utilisation, and system security
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance infrastructure and platform capabilities
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues, participating in on-call rotations for critical system support
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to align infrastructure and automation initiatives with organisational goals
- Create documentation, presentations, and training materials; share knowledge, guide, and upskill colleagues
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years(Senior Devops Engineer) / 6 Years(Lead DevOps Engineer) hands-on experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role
- Proven track record of practical problem-solving in complex, production-grade environments
- Strong scripting and automation skills across multiple languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Go, Ansible), with the ability to design and deliver robust automation solutions
- Deep expertise in container orchestration and associated tooling, including Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
- Solid experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with proficiency in at least one major platform (Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, or equivalent)
- Advanced knowledge of Docker and containerization best practices
- Hands-on experience leveraging modern AI tools to drive practical efficiency improvements across workflows.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems
- Ability to independently prioritise competing demands, manage ambiguity, and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Naturally curious and self-driven, with a continuous desire to learn, evaluate, and adopt emerging technologies and practices
- Demonstrates initiative, ownership, and accountability; willing to take on challenges with a high level of enthusiasm and an innovative mindset
