Waking Night Support Worker (Recovery)
Linwood House, Barnsley, S71
£12.71 per hour
43.75 hours per week on rolling 2 week rota
Shifts: 19:30 - 08:00 4 on - 4 off shift pattern

Main Responsibilities of the Waking Night Support Worker
- Offer advice, information, and support to clients, including referrals for aftercare focused on maintaining an abstinent lifestyle.
- Assist Therapists with risk management plans and reviews.
- Ensure clients follow program rules, supporting the manager in investigating breaches, including substance testing.
- Conduct intakes, assessments, and discharges efficiently.
- Keep accurate client records and maintain databases.
- Facilitate transfers between agencies and services for clients.
- Support clients with medication reminders, conduct audits, and maintain accurate records.
- Work with clients to create recovery plans that are realistic and achievable.
- Help clients attend external appointments in line with their care plans, providing transport support or accompanying them as needed.
- Assist with day-to-day operations, helping clients manage practical aspects of daily living such as life skills, housing, and benefits.
