Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to take a leading role in our inpatient service at Barnsley.

In this role you will be taking the lead in caring for patients across both the first opinion and referral sides of the hospital. You’ll ensure every patient receives the very best care, supported by a talented and experienced team of RVNs.

Barnsley, clinic features 10 modern consulting rooms and four theatres, complete with X-ray and dental suites. Dedicated to the well-being of our furry friends, we boast a separate dog and cat ward. Our caseload is as diverse as it gets, ranging from surgical and medical cases to in-house orthopaedic procedures.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting patients through their treatment and recovery, while being part of a supportive and highly skilled hospital team.

The perfect candidate will be an experienced RVN with a keen interest in inpatient/ECC care with great clinical standards.

You’ll be confident managing

  • Continuous Rate Infusions (CRIs)
  • Indwelling catheters
  • A wide variety of complex medical and surgical cases

Rota & Hours

  • 4 on 4 off rota
  • Hours- 07:00-17:00 (including one hour unpaid lunch)
  • Average of 38.5hrs a week

Salary above based on 40hr week.
