🌟 Float Teacher – Infants & 2-Year-Olds
đź“Ť By Leaps and Bounds
By Leaps and Bounds is seeking a caring, dependable, and flexible Full-Time Float Teacher to support both our Infant and 2-Year-Old classrooms.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with multiple age groups and values variety within their week while still maintaining consistency with children and staff. The schedule includes:
•
Two days per week in the Infant Room
•
Two days per week in the 2-Year-Old Room
•
One full weekday off each week
We are looking for someone who is nurturing, team-oriented, adaptable, and able to step into different classroom environments with confidence and positivity.
✨ Responsibilities
•
Support daily classroom routines and activities in both Infant and 2-Year-Old classrooms
•
Help create a safe, clean, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
•
Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, nap routines, and supervision
•
Interact positively with children through play, learning, and daily care routines
•
Support children’s social-emotional growth through patience and positive guidance
•
Work collaboratively with Lead Teachers and center leadership
•
Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and licensing standards
•
Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

Previous childcare experience preferred
•
Wisconsin Registry credentials preferred (or willingness to obtain)
•
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced childcare environment
