Finnplay is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team. As a member of the team, you will be working closely with development and delivery teams to monitor and improve our business-critical worldwide online gaming system. We work in a hybrid model and hope you can join us at the office twice a week. The salary for this role will be 5500-6200€/month gross.

YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL

•

Supporting and mentoring other devops engineers

•

Providing technical guidance and reviewing the work of team members

•

Coordinating work with other teams

•

Developing and reviewing deployment process

•

Maintaining and monitoring systems

•

Delivering tasks accurately and on-time

•

Troubleshooting production issues

IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, THESE ARE SOME OF MUST-HAVES:

•

Relevant bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology

•

Excellent coordination and organizational skills

•

In-depth knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC)

•

Extensive Kubernetes experience

•

Strong Linux expertise, including hardware, software, networking

•

Experience with CI/CD environment, build/release tools and systems like Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions

•

Fully proficient with Docker

•

Experience with one or more configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef

•

Experience with cloud providers – Google Cloud, AWS

•

Experience working with monitoring and alerting framework like Grafana, ELK

•

Experience working in an agile environment

•

Understanding of web based applications

•

Excellent communication skills in English

TO TRULY EXCEL IN THE ROLE, THESE ARE SOME OF THE NICE-TO-HAVES:

Experience in one or more programming languages- Shell, Python, or Groovy
