Do you want to work in a strong technical team with a genuine passion for embedded systems and automotive software?

At Sigma Embedded Engineering , we are currently looking for an Android Platform Developer with hands‑on experience on the Android platform (system level, not app development) to join our long‑term projects for leading international product companies.

Your role

In this role, you will work close to the system and hardware layer, contributing to the integration and development of Android Automotive OS . Your responsibilities may include:

System‑level development on the Android Automotive / AOSP platform

Working with bootloaders , board bring‑up and platform enablement

Inter‑chip and low‑level communication

Development and integration using Java and/or C++

Working in Linux or QNX environments

Debugging, system analysis and performance improvements

Collaboration in cross‑functional and Agile teams

We are looking for someone who has

A Master’s degree in Computer Science, System Development or equivalent practical experience

Solid knowledge of the Android platform , preferably Android Automotive OS / AOSP

3+ years of professional experience in system‑level development

Experience with Java and/or C++ in Linux or QNX environments

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile development

Practical experience with Git , Jira , Confluence and Python

Experience with test automation and Continuous Integration as part of daily work

Communicative level of English

Automotive experience is a strong plus

Experience with embedded or low‑level system work is a plus
