Role Overview

We're looking for a Document Control Expeditor who is responsible for monitoring dispatch documentation and ensuring all delivery records are received, verified, and uploaded within agreed KPI timelines. The individual will work closely with operations teams, transporters, loading sites, and management to drive compliance, support issue resolution, and improve overall operational performance through proactive monitoring and exception management.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor dispatch documentation against KPI timelines (Within KPI, Exception, Major Exception).

Acquire, verify, and upload delivery documents into our internal system within the

stipulated time frame.

Identify and escalate delayed cases as per the SOP (24 hrs 72 hrs Major Exception).

Liaise with loading sites, ground teams, transporters, and third party facilities to obtain pending documentation.

Maintain exception tracking logs and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Support Controllers and Operations Managers during major exceptions.

Provide weekly exception analysis and highlight chronic non compliant loading points.

Ensure client communication is clear, professional, and only triggered after internal escalation is exhausted.

Work with management on accountability measures (performance issues, repeat delays).

Role Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

2 4 years of experience in logistics documentation or operations support.

Familiarity with customs procedures and transport documentation preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office ( Word) and Salesforce (or similar data entry/reporting

tools).
