Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to support performance management and career development of seafarers within our Marine HR function. The role involves close collaboration with global stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of appraisal systems, competency development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analysing performance data, driving development plans, and strengthening talent pipelines across fleet operations.

Job Description

Collaborate with HR Marine, FPD teams, and stakeholders across SMCs and CSCs to implement performance strategies and enhance seafarer development.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of appraisal reports and CMS records.

Analyse performance data (appraisals, CMS, PAL, feedback) and prepare individual performance summaries.

Identify performance gaps and drive corrective actions, including managing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).

Monitor follow-ups with stakeholders to ensure timely closure of performance actions and PIPs.

Provide guidance on appraisal inconsistencies and support timely closure of Top 2 Performance Reports.

Identify high-potential and underperforming personnel for development or intervention.

Prepare monthly reports on performance trends, competency development, and promotion readiness.

Validate and resolve inaccuracies in PAL data in coordination with SMCs/CSCs.

Ensure transparency and proper documentation of performance communication in PAL.

Support improvement of performance monitoring tools and career development processes.

Contribute to HR Marine projects and initiatives as required.
