We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Senior Engineer / Executive – Maintenance (Plant Machines) .
In this role you will be responsible for managing SB AMG maintenance operations with full ownership of performance deliverables and KPIs. You will need to ensure high equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvements in maintenance processes.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
•
Manage shift-wise maintenance and operations of assigned AMG
•
Ensure daily machine breakdowns are within defined AMG targets
•
Diagnose equipment breakdowns and implement timely corrective actions
•
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
•
Ensure MTTR and MTBF are maintained within target levels
•
Execute maintenance scope of work within defined timelines
•
Close LOP and TPM tags as per target schedules
•
Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM) for stitching machines
•
Drive TPM and IATF 16949 related activities and compliance
•
Promote 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
•
Maintain maintenance-related documentation and records
If you have/are
•
Strong technical knowledge in Electrical systems and PLCs
•
Hands-on experience with Omron and Mitsubishi PLCs
•
Experience in Hydraulics and Pneumatics systems
•
Good understanding of maintenance operations and TPM practices
•
Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics or Bachelor of Engineering (E&E)
•
6–8 years of experience for Diploma holders or 4–6 years for Engineering graduates
•
Good communication skills and ability to manage shop floor teams
•
Proficiency in English, Kannada, and Hindi
•
Willingness to work in 3-shift operations
