To support the growth of our European business we are currently looking for an experienced and hands on: Senior Financial Controller In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. Reporting to the Finance Manager Europe, you will lead a robust month end and year end close process, maintain strong balance sheet governance and drive continuous improvement in financial controls and processes. You will lead and develop the local finance team, oversee the performance of the GL Shared Service Team based in Southeast Asia, and act as a trusted business partner to stakeholders across the business. Main responsibilities: - Prepare month-end and annual profit and loss and balance sheet reports - Prepare year-end and statutory accounts and support the annual audit process - Maintain the full chart of accounts and trial balance; manage accruals and fixed assets - Reconcile payroll administration, clearing accounts and suspense accounts; manage intercompany statements - Oversee inventory, accounts receivable and accounts payable balances to ensure completeness and accuracy - Provide management with timely financial information by preparing and presenting reports, budgets, forecasts and financial statements - Manage the budget and forecasting...
