We're a locally owned, community-focused grocery store in the heart of Gibsons, and we’re looking for a skilled, dependable Meat Cutter to join our team full-time. What You’ll Do

• Cut, trim and prepare a variety of meat and seafood products with care and precision
• Follow all food safety, quality, freshness and sanitation standards
• Operate cutting tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Stock, rotate and merchandise products and displays
• Assist customers with product selection and custom requests
• Collaborate with the Meat Manager and team to maintain efficient department operations
• Lift up to 50 lbs. as part of your daily responsibilities

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a variety of daytime shifts, including:

• 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• 9:30 am – 6:00 pm

While schedules may vary based on business needs, the majority of shifts are from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm . Candidates must be available to work at least one weekend day, and preference will be given to those who are available to work both Saturdays and Sundays.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of meat cutting or butcher experience preferred
• Knowledge of different meat cuts and preparation techniques
• Strong attention to safety and sanitation standards
• A positive attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
