Job description

Job title : Technician

Reporting line : Workshop Supervisor

Location : Bridge Of Don, Aberdeen

Principal Accountabilities

•Liaise closely with the workshop supervisor on a daily basis to ensure all operational requirements are effectively communicated, understood and executed.

•Apply Chemical Injection and Corrosion monitoring products in accordance with client specifications and internal SES/CIU procedures. •Carry out the manufacture, repair and maintenance of Chemical Injection skids, pumps, tools and associated components. This includes flushing operations, dismantling, inspecting, repair, reassembly and pressure testing. •Prepare equipment and assets for safe and timely dispatch. •Accurately complete required reports and documentation in line with company standards and within agreed timeframes. •Perform general workshop duties perform in a professional, efficient and courteous manner ensuring full compliance company standards and safety procedures. •Assembly new equipment and assets to required specifications. •Assist Project Managers in providing a high level of technical support to all customers. •Develop a thorough understanding of CIU processes and their application in day-to-day operations. •Take full responsibility for personal safety and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for colleagues, both onsite and when representing the company externally. •Achieve full competency in the application and operation of chemical injection systems.

Qualifications and Experience : •Experience or certification in small bore tubing (Desirable) •Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, ideally involving small bore tubing systems, air or electrically driven pumps and pressure relief valves. •Strong focus on HSEQ with a structured and service-orientated approach. •Demonstrable knowledge and practical understanding of pressure testing procedures. •High standards of workmanship with excellent attention to detail. •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately. •Strong communication skills, both written and verbal •Self-motivated with a proactive, team-orientated mindset and collaborative approach to work. •Excellent organisational and time management skills. •Willingness to work offshore or onsite.

•Valid offshore certification is advantageous but not essential.

HSE Responsibilities

•Stop work by challenging and stopping unsafe acts and behaviours or unsafe conditions. • Comply with Standard Operating Procedures defined in Responsibilities above, and company STOP WORK system.

Training and Competencies : •Recognised mechanical experience •Small bore tubing experience •Pressure testing experience

The job holder may also be required to work at other locations operated by the Company as well as carrying out customer and supplier site visits
