About the Role

We are currently hiring for an experienced DZ Metered Propane Delivery Driver to join our growing team based out of Ayr, ON .

As a front-line representative of Primemax Energy, you will safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers , while providing excellent service and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate single and tandem-axle propane delivery trucks
• Deliver propane to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Load, unload, and safely handle propane
• Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD/tablet)
• Provide professional, courteous customer service on every delivery
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, including TDG and CVOR requirements
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, routes, and operational issues
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements

• Valid DZ driver’s license (AZ considered an asset)
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience (fuel or propane preferred)
• Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Comfortable working continental shifts and seasonal overtime (especially during winter months)
• Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to frequently enter and exit the truck throughout the day
• Comfortable using electronic devices (tablets, routing systems, ELDs)
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service

Assets (Nice to Have)

• Previous propane or fuel delivery experience
• TDG and propane handling certifications
• Knowledge of rural routes and bulk delivery environments

Work Location

• Must report daily to the Ayr, ON yard
