Position Summary: The Specialty Printing Divisions Assistant Manager supports the planning, coordination, and daily operations of specialty printing departments. This role assists in overseeing production workflows, ensuring quality standards, managing team performance, and maintaining efficient use of equipment, materials, and labor resources. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with technical knowledge of specialty printing processes and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations across specialty printing divisions
  • Monitor workflow efficiency and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Ensure proper utilization of equipment, materials, and personnel
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of production staff
  • Provide daily guidance and supervision to team members
  • Assist with performance evaluations and coaching initiatives
  • Promote a positive, safe, and productive work environment
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and production teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood
  • Assist in managing customer expectations and resolving escalated issues

Requirements

  • Experience in a printing, manufacturing, or production environment
  • Knowledge of specialty printing methods, equipment, and production workflows
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Infor/ERP software

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
