Job description

Edward Mellor Auction is looking for a hungry, driven and commercially minded Business Development & Partnerships Manager to help us grow our auction business across the North West and beyond.

This isn't a desk-based partnership role. We're looking for someone who loves being out in the market, building relationships, opening doors, generating opportunities and winning business.

You'll be responsible for developing relationships with Estate Agents, Solicitors, Insolvency Practitioners, Property professionals, Investors and developers to generate new auction instructions and drive revenue growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identifying and securing new auction instructions through proactive business development.
  • Building relationships with estate agents, solicitors, property professionals and investors.
  • Attending networking events, industry functions and client meetings.
  • Generating and converting leads into revenue opportunities.
  • Developing referral partnerships that deliver a consistent flow of new business.
  • Working closely with our valuation and auction teams to maximise opportunities.
  • Maintaining an active pipeline and consistently achieving growth targets.
  • Representing Edward Mellor Auction in the market and raising awareness of our services.

What We're Looking For

  • A proven track record in business development, sales or relationship management.
  • Experience within the property industry is highly desirable.
  • A natural ability to build rapport and open doors.
  • Confidence speaking with business owners, directors and decision-makers.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • A target-driven mindset with a passion for winning business.
  • Self-motivated, energetic and comfortable working independently.
