Key Responsibilities: HR Strategy & Alignment Support the alignment of HR functions with Syokinet’s strategic vision and operational priorities. Provide insights on workforce planning and organizational structuring. Employee Relations & Engagement Advise on staff relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling. Promote a healthy organizational culture grounded in respect, communication, and accountability. Performance Management Contribute to the design and implementation of performance management processes. Provide tools and guidance for goal setting, feedback, and staff evaluations. Recruitment & Onboarding Support the development of job descriptions and hiring processes as needed. Contribute to the design of onboarding experiences that integrate new staff into the organization effectively. Policy & Compliance Review and advise on internal HR policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with local labor laws. Capacity Building & Support Identify training needs and support capacity development initiatives for staff and managers. Promote a learning culture and knowledge-sharing across teams. Internal Communication Strengthen internal communication systems to improve collaboration and transparency across the organization. Requirements Requirements: Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Public Health, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset). Professional certification in HR (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory. Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in organizational leadership, team management, or operations. Prior experience in consulting, HR support, or working with cross-functional teams is highly beneficial. Experience in the humanitarian, development, or social impact sectors is an advantage. Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and compliance practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to advise, coach, and influence others Proven ability to align people strategies with organizational goals Solid knowledge of performance management, team structuring, and employee engagement Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Adaptability and a proactive mindset in dynamic environments Personal Attributes: People-centered and empathetic Strategic yet practical Strong sense of integrity and accountability Collaborative and solutions-oriented Other: Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple projects Knowledge of local labor laws (if applicable) Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus) Benefits Flexible Work Arrangement: Ability to work remotely or on a hybrid basis, allowing for work-life balance and autonomy over your schedule.
