Summary: The Fundraising and Resource Mobilization Officer plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s mission by identifying, securing, and stewarding financial and in-kind resources. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic fundraising initiatives that ensure long-term sustainability and growth. By building strong relationships with donors, foundations, government agencies, and private sector partners, the officer enhances the organization’s visibility and impact. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented approach to grant writing, donor engagement, and data management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor expectations. Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising and resource mobilization strategies. Identify and pursue grant opportunities, donor prospects, funding agencies, and strategic partnership avenues. Prepare high-quality concept notes, funding proposals, sponsorship requests, and donor communications. Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting relationships with donors, foundations, embassies, private sector partners, and institutional stakeholders. Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and donor engagement initiatives. Support the development of organizational sustainability and long-term financial planning. Maintain accurate donor databases and funding opportunity trackers. Collaborate closely with program teams to design compelling, results-driven project proposals. Monitor evolving donor trends, funding priorities, and sector developments. Prepare and deliver regular fundraising performance and partnership reports. Represent the organization at donor meetings, donor events, and networking forums.
