Associate Agronomist

Summary: This entry-level agronomist role is designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about sustainable agriculture and food system resilience. The position focuses on supporting crop production and farm management through the application of foundational agronomic principles. You will work directly with farmers and internal teams to enhance yield, soil health, and environmental sustainability. Responsibilities: Assist in planning and implementing crop production strategies Conduct regular field visits to monitor crop growth, soil conditions, and overall farm health Support soil sampling, testing, and interpretation of results Provide basic agronomic guidance to farmers on planting, fertilization, and pest control Collect, organize, and analyze field data to assess crop performance and productivity Support the design and delivery of training programs for farmers and farm staff Monitor and assist in pest, disease, and weed control initiatives Promote and implement sustainable and climate-smart agricultural practices Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of farm activities, inputs, and outcomes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve agricultural efficiency and outcomes
