Job description
Summary The Graphics Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping BCAI’s visual narrative by creating impactful, brand-consistent graphics that amplify communications, advocacy initiatives, and program deliverables. This position ensures that all visual content effectively conveys complex messages to diverse audiences while reinforcing BCAI’s identity and values. The designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality, platform-optimized visuals for digital and print media, contributing to increased engagement, awareness, and impact across campaigns and events. Responsibilities - Design and produce visually compelling graphics for social media, reports, presentations, and advocacy campaigns - Develop infographics, posters, flyers, banners, and other promotional materials for program activities and events - Transform complex data and narratives into clear, engaging, and accessible visual content - Maintain strict adherence to BCAI’s brand guidelines across all design outputs - Update and manage brand assets to ensure consistency and relevance - Create dynamic visuals for online campaigns, storytelling initiatives, and stakeholder engagement - Support multimedia content development, including basic video editing and animation when needed - Optimize designs for diverse platforms, including web, social media, and print - Collaborate with communications and program teams to understand project needs and deliver timely solutions - Contribute to the design of training materials, event collateral, and donor-facing content - Incorporate feedback efficiently and revise designs to meet evolving requirements - Maintain a well-organized digital archive of design files, ensuring version control and easy access - Stay current with design trends, platform-specific formats, and emerging visual communication tools
