Job description

Job Description – Commercial Lead, Ashluxe Reports to: Managing Director, Ashluxe Ashcorp is a global luxury group redefining how we experience the world through fashion, innovation, and impact. We inspire and empower generations to live intentionally, curating a lifestyle beyond the ordinary. Ashluxe, our signature brand, continues to push boundaries in streetwear and fashion. Ashluxury, our luxury retail flagship, offers over 100 international designer brands. From our Lagos offices, Ashcorp connects fashion lovers in 23+ countries and territories with the world’s best brands. Our impact goes beyond fashion. Through YAART Incubating Programme, we are shaping the future, driving creativity, youth empowerment, and innovation. Role Overview: Mission (why this role exists) The Commercial Lead exists to own and accelerate revenue growth across all of Ashluxe’s commercial channels — e-commerce, brick-and-mortar retail, and wholesale. The role translates Ashluxe’s commercial strategy into channel-level execution, with wholesale a key growth priority alongside a thriving direct-to-consumer retail and digital business. Working closely with the Managing Director, the Commercial Lead is the operator accountable for day-to-day commercial performance - revenue, margin, sell-through, and customer growth - across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale. The role combines hands-on commercial leadership and account management with channel planning and data-led decision-making, ensuring profitable, sustainable revenue growth while protecting Ashluxe’s brand positioning. Positioning Is: A hands-on commercial leader accountable for revenue growth, channel performance, and sell-through across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale. Is NOT: A single-channel, purely strategic, or brand-marketing role; the Commercial Lead owns commercial performance across all channels and is measured on results, not only on setting direction. Key Responsibilities: Multi-Channel Commercial Leadership Own and grow revenue across all of Ashluxe’s commercial channels — e-commerce, brick-and-mortar retail, and wholesale. Set channel-level targets, pricing, and trading strategy, and own commercial performance and the P&L across channels. Balance and optimise the channel mix to maximise profitable, sustainable revenue growth. Wholesale Growth Build, own, and grow the wholesale channel as a key engine of revenue growth. Identify, pitch, onboard, and manage wholesale partners, and multi-brand retailers across priority markets. Own wholesale sell-in and sell-through, including range planning, order books, reorders, and account performance. Negotiate trading terms, margins, and agreements that protect profitability and brand positioning. Retail & E-Commerce Drive the performance and growth of brick-and-mortar retail operations and the e-commerce platform. Own key direct-to-consumer metrics, including traffic, conversion, average order value, and sell-through. Ensure a seamless, premium omnichannel customer experience across stores and online. Partner on clienteling, CRM, and retention initiatives that grow customer lifetime value. Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth Translate the company’s commercial growth strategy into channel-level plans and revenue targets. Own forecasting, pricing architecture, and markdown and discount discipline across channels. Identify new channels, accounts, and revenue streams that strengthen profitability. Data & Performance Track and report on commercial KPIs by channel, including revenue, sell-through, margin, and conversion. Use sales and consumer data to inform assortment, pricing, and channel strategy. Partner with marketing on data-backed demand generation that supports all commercial channels. Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead and mentor the commercial team across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce. Work closely with the MD, merchandising, marketing, and operations to align supply with demand. Provide commercial input into product, pricing, and go-to-market decisions. Requirements Key Requirements & Skills Proven track record in commercial, multi-channel, or sales leadership across wholesale, retail, or e-commerce within fashion, luxury, lifestyle, or consumer brands. Demonstrated success growing revenue across multiple channels, including building or scaling wholesale and driving retail and e-commerce performance. Strong understanding of omnichannel retail and e-commerce, including digital trading and customer experience. Strong negotiation, account management, and relationship-building skills. Commercially numerate, with confidence owning forecasts, margins, sell-through, conversion, and order books. Data-literate, able to turn sales and channel data into commercial decisions. Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and effective in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. An existing network of wholesale and retail partners is a strong advantage. Benefits Why Join Us? Own Ashluxe’s full commercial engine across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale, with direct impact on revenue and visible leadership exposure. Be part of a global, passionate, innovative, and entrepreneurial team. Competitive compensation and benefits, including opportunities for professional growth.
