About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Solutions Architect – Video Analytics (Presales) to lead the design and positioning of enterprise-grade video surveillance and AI-driven analytics solutions across diverse markets. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, government agencies, and critical infrastructure clients, translating complex video analytics capabilities into scalable, secure, and ROI-driven solutions. As a key member of the presales organization, you will architect end-to-end CCTV and AI-powered video analytics ecosystems spanning cameras, VMS platforms, edge/cloud processing, and enterprise integrations. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services teams to drive complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities from technical discovery through solution design and deal closure. This position requires deep expertise in video surveillance architecture, AI-powered computer vision, enterprise networking, and systems integration, along with strong executive communication skills and the ability to influence decision-makers across multiple geographies. Roles & Responsibilities 1.Solution Architecture & Design Architect end-to-end video analytics solutions incorporating CCTV infrastructure, VMS platforms, edge and cloud AI processing, and integration with customer systems. Design scalable deployments for enterprise, smart city, transportation, and critical infrastructure environments. Develop technical proposals including system diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), integration specifications, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis. Conduct site surveys and technical feasibility assessments for complex projects. 2.Presales Engagement Lead technical discovery sessions with C-level executives, IT directors, security managers, and procurement teams. Deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept deployments. Respond to RFPs and RFIs with detailed technical and compliance documentation. Provide competitive analysis and differentiation strategies. Calculate and present ROI models including cost reduction, operational efficiency gains, and risk mitigation value. 3. Customer & Partner Enablement Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for customers and channel partners. Develop solution blueprints, integration guides, and best practice documentation. Support post-sales handoff to ensure seamless project implementation. Maintain ongoing technical advisory relationships with strategic accounts. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and advance complex sales cycles. Coordinate with Product and Engineering teams on customer requirements and feature requests. Work with Professional Services on deployment planning and resource allocation. Contribute to marketing collateral, case studies, and technical content. Required qualification: 5+ years of experience in Presales or Solutions Engineering for enterprise technology solutions. 3+ years of hands-on experience with CCTV systems, VMS platforms, or video analytics technologies. Proven multi-country project experience across Southeast Asia, APAC, or similar diverse markets. Demonstrated track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals exceeding $500K USD. Deep understanding of video surveillance architecture, including cameras, encoders, storage, networking, and video management systems. Working knowledge of video analytics capabilities such as object detection, facial recognition, behavior analysis, license plate recognition, and crowd analytics. Familiarity with AI and ML concepts applied to computer vision and edge computing. Strong network infrastructure knowledge including TCP/IP, VLANs, bandwidth calculation, QoS, and cybersecurity principles. Experience integrating with access control systems, alarm systems, CAD platforms, and enterprise software via APIs or SDKs.
