Role Overview The social media intern will support the marketing team in executing day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, video editing, scheduling, and community engagement. This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about digital content and eager to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing. The intern will contribute to building brand presence across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn by assisting with content production, trend research, and performance tracking. This is a learning-focused role with opportunities to develop practical skills in content strategy, video editing, and digital marketing analytics. Requirements Responsibilities Support the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across major social media platforms. Edit engaging short-form videos using CapCut for platforms such as Instagram and tikTok Monitor community engagement by responding to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner. Research current social media trends, content formats, and competitor activity to support content strategy. Collect and organize basic performance metrics and assist in preparing weekly social media reports. Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative, high-performing content ideas. Benefits Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or a related field. Strong understanding of major social media platforms and basic content management tools. Proficiency in CapCut with the ability to create and edit engaging short-form video content is required. Basic knowledge of graphic design or visual content creation is an added advantage. Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A strong willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a growing marketing team.
