Job Purpose GC Solar is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Representative with a strong background in renewable energy. The ideal candidate must possess excellent knowledge of solar and clean energy products and maintain a strong client base within the industry. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. About GC Solar GC Solar is a leading national supplier and solar distributor since 2011, based in Johannesburg and in Cape Town. We provide cutting-edge renewable energy products. Our dedicated team offers exceptional after-sales support and technical services, especially in the commercial sector. With a focus on sustainability, we supply solutions for utilities, mines, and commercial buildings, leading the way in South Africa’s solar energy transition. Key Responsibilities Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector. Manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients through consultative sales and exceptional service. Develop tailored solutions based on customer needs and project requirements. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients. Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Keep abreast of industry trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings. Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, and finance) to ensure seamless project execution. Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports to management.
