Job summary: The Purchase Executive is responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, components, and services required for precision manufacturing. The role focuses on vendor management, cost control, and coordination with internal teams to support uninterrupted production while maintaining quality and compliance standards Key Responsibilities 1. Source and procure raw materials (metal, fasteners, tooling) and services as per production requirements 2. Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms with vendors 3. Develop and maintain a reliable vendor base 4. Issue purchase orders and track order status to ensure on-time delivery 5. Coordinate with production, quality, and stores teams 6. Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking 7. Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies 8. Education & Experience: • Education: BE in Mechanical Engineering • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in procurement within manufacturing • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and email communication • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory management systems • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
