Job description
Mechanical & Hydraulic Maintenance Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance on cranes, static and rotating equitment hydraulic/mechanical systems. Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of cranes, rotating, static and auxiliary equipment. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance routines to minimize downtime. Ensure strict compliance with OEM standards and QHSE requirements during maintenance activities. Identify, select, and utilize appropriate tools, spare parts, and consumables for maintenance tasks. Workshop & Field Operations Support workshop operations by managing allocated workload efficiently. Assist in coordinating repair activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Document maintenance work, test results, and recommendations accurately. Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Provide maintenance support for client projects and site operations. Participate in client inspections, audits, and technical reviews where required. Build client confidence through reliable, timely, and safe delivery of services. Support SCM and Tendering teams with technical input on maintenance scope. Safety & Compliance Adhere to company and regulatory safety standards, ensuring zero accidents during operations. Participate in toolbox talks, safety drills, and continuous QHSE improvement initiatives. Maintain proper certification and comply with industry regulations for cranes and lifting equipment. Requirements Education Bachelors Degree in Engineering, mechanical engineering or associated degrees in Mechanical/Automotive Technology or Hydraulic Systems. Relevant trade certifications in equipment or crane maintenance. Additional training in mechanical/hydraulic systems, crane IRM, and QHSE compliance are an advantage. Experience Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in mechanical/hydraulic repair and maintenance of cranes and heavy equipment. Demonstrated record of successful maintenance projects and equipment restoration. Experience in oil & gas servicing or related heavy equipment industries are preferred. Knowledge & Skills Mechanical & Hydraulic System Diagnostics, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance. Strong technical problem-solving ability. Attention to detail and adaptability in high-pressure environments. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
