Responsibilities

  • Manage product development projects from concept phase through to serial production for OEM and Tier 1 customers
  • Lead technical discussions with customers and coordinate external design support activities
  • Prepare technical documentation and project presentations in accordance with customer requirements, technical standards, and project timelines
  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop DFMEA analyses to support product development
  • Perform benchmarking activities to evaluate and improve product solutions
  • Participate in component trials and validate results throughout the development process
  • Cooperate closely with toolmakers to support tooling development, modifications, and project implementation
  • Monitor project progress and ensure the successful achievement of quality, cost, and timing objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Proven experience in a similar position within the automotive or manufacturing industry
  • Experience in designing plastic components (injection-molded parts)
  • Knowledge of the CATIA system
  • Experience in managing product development projects from concept to series production
  • Ability to work in an international environment and communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English
  • Strong communication skills, proactive approach, and hands-on attitude
