Job description

Operations Manager The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of all operations of ATL Car Rental t/a Enterprise, Alamo, and National in the licensed territory and the related field territory, based on the agreed strategic direction and performance targets set by the executive leadership of the company, with an emphasis on Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Customer Service and Operations

  • Maintain optimum operational, financial, customer service, and sales performance.
  • Oversee satellite locations.
  • Improve operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization's mission
  • Ensure that the brand is properly represented and all brand specifications are followed throughout all rental programs.
  • Chair department meetings on a timely basis.
  • Resolve escalated customer and team member issues and disputes in a diplomatic and timely manner.
  • Review of customer comments, reports, and feedback for action.
  • Ensure facilities and all location upkeep to standard operating policies.
  • Ensuring Brand integrity. Human Resources
  • Initiate, Lead and oversee process improvement projects, including training intervention with the support of the Training and Development department.
  • Support recruitment and placement of talent and training.
  • Evaluates Team performance: Station Managers, Leads, Senior Leads, Operations Coordinator, Parts Advisor, and Claims Agent.
  • Support HOB / General in evaluating Service Managers. Sales and Marketing
  • Represent the company and brands at designated events.
  • Initiate and lead business /sales development Programmes.
  • Review daily performance sales reports on the Report Web. Financial Performance
  • Prepare agreed standard periodic operational reports for the Head of Business (HOB) and the executive committee.
  • Recommend strategies for improving operational and business performance. Fleet Management and Maintenance
  • Review Fleet / Yield reports and reservation forecasts to optimize vehicle utilization.
  • Periodic travel to all EHI locations.
  • Ensure vehicle quality standards are maintained. Minimum Qualification and Experience required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of automotive experience or customer relations management exposure.
