Residential Plumber

Job Scope: Residential Plumber Location: Des Moines, IA

Job Summary: Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, ensuring compliance with local codes and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Install and repair pipes and replacement fixtures.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Diagnose and fix plumbing issues; perform routine maintenance.
• Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients; ensure satisfaction.
• Team Collaboration: Work with other tradespeople; mentor apprentices.
• Safety: Follow safety protocols; use protective equipment. Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Iowa journeyman’s plumber's license (preferred).
• 4+ years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods
• Ability to work in various positions, including kneeling, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and conditions
