Milling Operator (PM Shift) - Mechanical Reduction Department

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a safety-focused and dependable Milling Operator to support operations within the Mechanical Reduction Department at our global precious metals refining and recycling facility. This hands-on role supports material processing activities including milling, sifting, grinding, and particle size reduction while ensuring all production, environmental, quality, and safety standards are consistently met in a heavy industrial environment.

What You Will Do

• Operate milling and material processing equipment within the Mechanical Reduction Department
• Perform milling, sifting, grinding, and particle size reduction activities
• Identify, sort, and process non-ferrous materials and metals
• Support quality control and production tracking activities
• Monitor equipment during operation and identify irregularities or operational concerns
• Maintain accurate production and operational records
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with procedures
• Work safely in a heavy industrial environment while wearing required PPE, including Tyvek suits and supplied air equipment
• Follow production schedules and support operational targets
• Assist with general housekeeping and operational support activities as needed

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in machine operation, milling, recycling, construction, cement mixing, ceramics, or similar industrial environments strongly preferred
• Ability to work in a hot, heavy industrial environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to operating procedures
• Reliable transportation required due to limited public transportation access
• Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods, including Tyvek suits with supplied air

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around industrial equipment for extended periods
• Ability to work in conditions involving heat, noise, dirt, odors, and industrial materials

Schedule & Benefits

• 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, onsite in Fairless Hills

Compliance Requirements

• Must meet ITAR and NAID eligibility requirements
• Ability to pass background screening, pre-employment drug testing, physical examination, and respirator clearance requirements
