Junior Business Development Representative

We are looking for a Sales Representative with a strong background in SaaS to join our team.
RESPONSABILITIES
•
Regularly contact the database of potential clients through cold calling, email, and other channels to generate new business opportunities
•
Perform structured, goal-oriented cold calling, ensuring an effective approach in presenting solutions and identifying client needs
•
Act in line with the commercial strategy, contacting potential clients or partners according to defined priorities
•
Qualify sales opportunities and assign the potential client to the appropriate Sales Manager, in line with the business unit strategy
•
Schedule meetings with potential clients for the sales team, increasing the likelihood of converting new business opportunities
•
Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of client and opportunity data in the CRM system in use
•
Serve as the first point of contact for new clients requesting proposals, conducting an initial needs assessment and routing accordingly
•
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying potential issues, reporting errors, and suggesting process enhancements or solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
•
Academic Background: High school diploma (12th grade) required. A degree in Management or a related field is preferred.
•
1 up to 3 years of previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
•
Strong customer orientation and focus on achieving results.
•
Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or similar).
•
Experience with Sales Intelligence tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
•
Bonus points: Knowledge of Digital Marketing solutions and tools (SMS Marketing, Voice Mailing, Marketing Services, Mobile Marketing).
•
Fluent in English, both written and spoken (mandatory).
•
Strong resilience and persistence, with the ability to handle rejection in a high-activity inside sales environment
•
Availability to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days a week at the Lisbon office).
