Core responsibilities - Prepare, review, and submit Dutch VAT returns, ICP listings, and related periodic filings. - Register clients for VAT and manage ongoing fiscal representation requirements. - Collect, validate, and reconcile transactional data (e.g., invoices, imports/exports, intra-EU movements). - Maintain client files, documentation, and audit-ready records in line with compliance standards. - Act as point of contact for clients, the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration, and other stakeholders. - Monitor deadlines, track case progress, and escalate risks or discrepancies proactively. - Support process improvements, reporting, and internal quality controls. Required skills and qualifications - Knowledge of VAT principles, fiscal representation, and cross-border trade flows (EU/international). - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to interpret financial and logistics data. - Experience with VAT compliance tools, ERP/accounting systems, and Excel or similar. - Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain requirements to non-specialists. - Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple client dossiers. - Professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
