Social Care Worker – Residential Services | Dublin North West
We are recruiting Social Care Workers to join residential intellectual disability services in Dublin North West. This is a well-supported environment offering strong work-life balance, career progression, and on-site parking.
Salary: €40,851 – €57,217 (pro-rata, based on relevant public sector experience)
Hours: Full-time: 39 hours per week Part-time: 19.5 hours per week This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a stable, structured service where they can deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

The Role As a Social Care Worker, you will support individuals in a residential setting using a person-centred, rights-based approach that promotes independence, dignity, and inclusion; Deliver person-centred support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Promote independence, life skills, and community participation. Support social, educational, and personal development. Facilitate meaningful daily and community-based activities. Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Assist with personal care and medication management where required. Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and best practice. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting. Essential Criteria Level 7 or higher in a CORU-recognised Social Care qualification. Vaild CORU registration or proof of application Full driving licence (driving service vehicles is required). Experience working in intellectual disability environment. Knowledge of HIQA standards, the Health Act 2007, and regulatory requirements. Ability to support individuals to develop skills and pursue their interests.
