Experienced Used Car Manager

Description of the Role

As an Experienced Used Car Manager at Envision Honda of Milpitas, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of our used car department. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring a seamless car buying experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the used car department, including the buying, pricing, and selling of used vehicles
• Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to ensure a diverse and high-quality selection of used cars
• Analyze market trends and price vehicles competitively to maximize sales and profitability
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the car buying process
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and dealership policies
• Maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, auctions, and other sources to acquire quality used vehicles
• Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and provide ongoing training and development

Requirements

• Prior experience in automotive sales, preferably in a managerial role
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful used car department
• In-depth knowledge of the used car market, including pricing, sourcing, and industry trends
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
• Proficient in dealership management software and tools
• Valid driver's license
• Must pass the background check and drug test
