Overview
THE ROLE
The Copywriter I will be responsible for generating original copy/content in English for multiple Herbalife Nutrition audiences including customers, Distributors, Preferred Members and the general public. This role will develop marketing content for different channels (print, video, web), including content for social media, websites, blog posts, CRM platforms, email marketing, newsletters, presentations, bios, events and advertising (promotions, product launches, etc.).
This position will be involved in the development and refinement of the Herbalife Nutrition brand voice and applying it to all communications. This person will need to be able to work within an existing brand framework while continuing to be creative, and they should be ready, willing and able to pitch story and content ideas. This position requires a strong level of familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to content creation for marketing and an understanding of Digital Marketing best practices.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE
- Write copy using agreed tone of voice and grammatically correct English.
- Develop marketing content across various channels including web (websites, CRM platforms, interactive platforms, email marketing, social media), print and video (short and long format).
- Ensure content is engaging, informative and on strategy, meets the requirements of the creative brief and reflects the company’s brand philosophy.
- Able to create an overall purpose, vision and direction for the content being developed, and ensure that it is valuable to both the business and the audience.
- Manage projects from inception through execution and print/posting, including writing metadata files and define keywords, search terms, taxonomy, etc.
- Ensure all requested edits are compiled and the direction given by stakeholders is incorporated into materials.
- Effectively prioritize all projects to meet copy deadlines and follow the trafficking/review/approval process required.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Herbalife Nutrition brand as it relates to all relevant audiences.
- Work with stakeholders to refine requests and creative to ensure effective communications.
- Be comfortable working individually and within a team framework.

Qualifications
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Skills
- Strong English-writing abilities for both business and creative writing
- Ability to multitask, set appropriate priorities and continuously meet deadlines in a demanding, fast paced environment
- Strong customer and results orientation
- Extremely detail oriented with an eye to catch inaccurate copy
- Individual and team orientation
- Proficiency with MS Office suite including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Experience
- 3 years’ experience writing in English in a corporate communications environment, advertising agency or corporate creative services department
- Previous ad agency, marketing, branding agency experience
- Experience in a broad range of sectors, such as healthcare, fitness, skin care, wellness, consumer products, nutritional supplements, or retails sales.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) in Communication, Literature, Journalism, Advertising, Business, Public Relations or a related field.
