MaxLinear is seeking a Systems Validation Engineer in Singapore to validate highly parallel, next-generation hardware accelerator SoCs for Home Router & Gateway products. In this role, you will contribute in the full cycle product development on evaluation platforms and real reference designs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Pre-silicon verification and post-silicon system validation of SoC.
- Test Case development and progress tracking
- Test program and test automation scripts development
- Perform System issue debugging and HW/SW/FW co-verification
- Perform SoC characterization and failure analysis
- Verification of SoC in emulation and prototyping environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or Master’s and above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field with at least 3 years of experience
- Understand system validation in complex SoC (System on Chip) environment
- Knowledge of system board design/debugging and usage of lab equipment like Oscilloscope and Logic analyzer
- Understanding network protocol in ethernet, IP & Routing is an advantage
- Ability to use methodological approaches to solve complex problems.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following area: Microcontrollers (ARM, ARC), DSP, SoC, hardware bring-up, emulation and FPGA platform
- Experience of C/C++ Programming and other test script development languages
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Networking domain expertise is highly desirable
- Knowledge of SoC architecture and design principles
- Familiar with HSIO, High speed ethernet, SFP, XFI, PCIe Gen4/Gen5 & USB
