Position Details
Role: Experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant Status: Full-time Salary: $18.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday through Friday with opening and closing shifts, plus rotating Saturday mornings

We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is passionate about providing outstanding patient care and client service.

What Veterinary Technicians & Assistants Do
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
- Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
- Perform venipuncture, place IV catheters, and administer medications and injections
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical preparation and recovery
- Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- Obtain diagnostic samples and perform in-house laboratory testing
- Take high-quality radiographs
- Fill prescription requests and educate clients on medications and preventive care
- Safely handle and restrain patients using compassionate, low-stress techniques
- Help maintain hospital cleanliness, organization, and safety
